Resume
My goal in sophomore year was simple: figure out what I want to do with my life. As straightforward as that goal was, it was equally as challenging to undertake, as I have many interests. I had spent all of high school, and my freshman year of college, believing that I wanted to enter the medical field. I had worked for four years as a tech in a vet hospital, gaining valuable and life changing work experience. At the end of freshman year, I realized that this path was not for me, and set out to find what really sparked my interest. My first semester in sophomore year I enrolled in a multitude of classes with the hope of finding my passion. I was fortunate to find two. I'm now officially a Computer Science/Economics double major and I could not be more satisfied. Since that time, I have had internship experiences in both of my majors. Last summer I interned at Micro Precision Automation utilizing my training in Python to work on a real world machine application. This semester I am studying abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland and have an internship with an investment analyst at an asset management firm.
